I'm in the market for a Fender Strat and was looking for advice on
choosing the best possible guitar. I'm trying to stay under $1k and
want a standard American or really good Mex start. Looking for a
as thick a neck as possible, decent size fret wire, good resonance
and tone and of course playability. Any advice on how to go about
the search? Thanks!

There's only one way.
Go to every music shop in town and play every Strat they have.
That's what I did. You'll find one that makes ya go WOW :shock: :o :D

what i did was went to guitar center an tried all the guitars that were pretty cool looking an then i found one that had the sound that could give a deaf guy a hearing orgasim, thats the way to go just find one after trying em all
