I have an opinion that strat (or for that matter any guitar )looks cool when you play them well.

I like a strat or a tele ( I use both) Great blues and country guitars. LP's are great also, but WAY over priced IMO.

I guess I like them all.
I have a 335, and it's the best for Jazz, Blues, and Classic Rock
I have a Les Paul-great for aggressive sounds, like TSO(kills my shoulder, though)
I have a Tele-great for playing anything clean, especially country and jazz
I have a Strat(big headstock, by the way), and it's definately the most versatile. I can use it for anything, although it isn't the best in and category. I do agree that it's the most comfortable.
I'd say that I play them all almost equally, surprisingly.

The Gibson style guitars feel more solid, but the Fenders are faster. It really depends on what mood i'm in.
