Yeah! The DeVille is a great amp.
Did you get a 2 X 12 or 4 X 10?
Have lots of fun. The DeVille has beautiful tone.

Lucky dog....enjoy the new amp. I picked up a Hot Rod Deluxe earlier this year and love it. Unfortunatley I had to settle for my MIM strat but maybe some day I'll be able to upgrade that too.
Only problem I've had so far with the HRD is it can get loud! Can only imagine that the Deville is even louder (60amp vs. 40amps for my HRD) I've been reading about attenuators and will likely pick one up soon before the family and neighbors kick me out :-) The amp is greating when playing with the boys and it can easily cut though the drums / bass but when trying to play at home it can be a bit much.
8) I hope you have a lot of fun with it!!!
Enjoy! :D
This model is the 2x12. I cranked it way up running a behringer tube overdrive through it and the floor was vibrating.

One Major Downside:
Other people's amps are going to sound like junk in comparison to your deville. Even the next amp you buy.

As old blues-men used to say, it's not bout' what guitar n' amp you use, it's bout how you play it. To be honest, i never really thought that statement to be completely true. Yes it is partly true, but a good guitar and amp really help add personal touches to your playing. Lucky for you Djdubb, you got yourself a rig which gives you your sound(i hope! :D )At least you didn't copy EVH(a LOT of people do!). I wish i could afford a tube amp :( :( :( !
