Just picked up my new beast for a very reasonable price.

Gordon Smith GS2.60

These are hand made in the UK - no frills but amazing playability!!
2 X hand wound humbuckers that can be coil tapped - the tone controls actually do something!! :)

Plays like butter btw 8)

nice hunk of mahogany.
it DOES look like a work horse.
your guitar should sound great.
is it very heavy?

Ye no doubt about it - was primarily designed to work rather than look pretty :)
Weighs a fair bit but not as much as a LP - very well balanced though - and has a marvelous neck joint - I LOVE IT!!

This is my 2nd GS and can thourghly recommend!

Very nice. I've not heard a single bad thing about GS guitars.

Congrats and enjoy.

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.
It was them that turned me to drink.

Finish is not always 100% (cosmetic finish) - but playability and vfm make up for it 10 fold :)
You can tell I'm loving it!!

Im sure if you contact them via the website they could tell you of any dealers in the US. Its possible you could deal direct with them and get it shipped over. I got mine via them direct but in the UK they usually point you to a dealer. Worth a try!

Would you happen to have their website?

Check the range out - some lovely gear on there. Their pickups are astonishing. Be sure and look at the GS1.5-40 - that very guitar on the site is mine!!
