I just looked up the tab around 2 hours ago and after a little while of practicing and getting it down, I was able to do it effortlessly(it really wasn't that hard). After I found that groove I played it over and over again with the CD and pretended I was Jimmy for around 1.5 hours. Man I love that song, it's REALLY fun and REALLY easy. 8)

Y'all who haven't should give it a try eh :D

Well, I've had some requests, but I'm going to play anyway.

Its always great to hear when practicing becomes fun. Won't be long and everything you want to learn will be easy. Especially when you get to the point when everything you play sounds so good you don't want to put your guitar down and you can play by ear to any song to hear.

Congrats, you must be elated, its a darn good song.
A friendly advise, you should record it and upload it.

Cheers,
Vic

Yeah i looked at rocknroll but only for a little bit because i was findin black dog. I got the lick down in black dog, but gettin down fast is a whole nother story. Practice makes perfect though heh

I'll put rocknroll next on my list of things to conquer, such an awesome riff, and a great way to open up a concert too if i ever join a band 8)

Well, I've had some requests, but I'm going to play anyway.

any opportunity to slip in a Zep tune is right up my alley.
yesterday, I was playing my dobro in open G.
stumbled on he lick for Killin Floor.

wow, I didnt know that could be done on a dobro.
so i worked out the whoe song.
I hought, I'll be the coolest, oplaying Zeppelin on dobro."

it took me a few moments longer tp realize that this blues song by Zep is a much older blues song.
it probably was written in open tuning originally.

so I bought myself down a few pegs.

it's been done before.
but Im still happy that I did it too.

Not that much older... Howlin' Wolf wrote it, and first recorded it in the mid 60s. It just seems older because it became a blues standard so quickly.

I think Wolf played it in open E tuning.

ultimate-guitar.com has several tabs for pretty much any Zeppelin song ever laid down, and any song for that matter.

My favorite Zepplin songs to play are Stairway, Livin Lovin Maid, The Ocean, The Rover, Out in the Tiles, and Achilles Last Stand. I've been meaning to sit down and force myself to learn Lemon Song but that solo just seems completely insane.

Ah yes, Babe I'm going to Leave You is the song that brought me back to guitar. Great fun to play.

I didn't notice anyone saying it was done in DADGAD tuning.
