Hi,
I am a singer from New Jersey. I have been singing since the age of 7. I have been in many bands and many shows. I practice my singing almost every day. Now, here's the hard part. I have always been managed by someone in a band and have never gone solo until now. I am street smart by ways of the music business but not in preparation as a solo artist. I have many songs under my belt and want to find out how to get some guidance; perhaps and agent or a manager. I am in great shape, look pretty attractive and am really ambitious to make it in the music industry. (Aren't we all?!) I just don't know who to turn to to help me get there. I have the time and the energy to do it. Can anyone help?

Cut a demo and start peddling around to anyone/everyone that will listen.
Prepare for a lot of rejection and don't ever give up.
