Cool! And you know what's even better? Now you can not only play that song, but learn songs of the same difficulty relatively easy as well. :D Way to go!
Congrats Vic!

Congrats, Vic. Living proof that the hard work is worth the effort.
No time to rest on your laurels. Onwards and upwards.
Keep up the great work.

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.
It was them that turned me to drink.
Congrats Vic... 8) ...way to go !

Yeah, it always feels good to make a big leap forward, always lookin forward to the next one.
Congratulations, Vic! Thanks for inspiring the rest of us to new heights.
:)
Great job, and great story, Vic!
It is a good inspiration. In fact, I've lately picked up bass a little bit, and I have started finding out the early part of your bass experience -- it is a little easier to pick out some of the bass lines in some songs by myself. So, I hope I can go along the same progression you have bee on, over time :-)

Great job Vic.
Why to go man...that's what we all wait for, that breakthrough song/riff/technique, whatever we've been putting a lot of time into and then see it all come together is certainly gratifying.
Can't say I've had that type of breakthrough yet but hopefully I'm close...I keep lowering my goals so maybe I can reach them someday...Ha
I'm not sure what my favorite song to play on guitar would be but it's usually pretty much the song I'm working on at the moment. I've been in a bit of an AC/DC mode lately so the last three songs have been AC?DC tunes, Shook me all Night, Back in Black and Hell's Bells.
Of those I've only nailed the Shook me all Night long solo as it's relatively easy so I don't consider that to be much of a breakthrough.
Both of the other two I can play the rhythm but not the solo's yet...and hopefully with some work I can get there but that Back In Black solo has some really fast runs in there. But maybe someday.
As for Wes, he's been a help to many people here including myself. I guess I'm kinda lucky he lives close to me and looks like we'll be getting together somewhat regularly to jam/work out songs.
"It's all about stickin it to the man!"
It's a long way to the top if you want to rock n roll!
That's great, Vic! I'm really happy for you! :D

Now you'll have to fly out to the States and teach the song to me!!!

Congrats!

Way to go Vic!
I think every newbie to guitar would do well to read what you've said - it's proof that practice really DOES make perfect!

Hey Reynold, here is a link to the easy song database (ESD) index on this website. The songs Vic refers to as Wes Inman's tabs are in there. A lot of good stuff, to say the least.
