Well they still have the guitar parts but the vocals are removed. I did this so I can hear the strumming patterns better for Melissa by the Allman Brothers and Southern Cross by Crosby, Stills, & Nash. I think they sound very good for practice anyway!

The directions are HERE

Hmm didn't quite work for me but I only tried 2 tracks. Vocals were quieter and sounded grainy/bad but cool nonetheless :)

You can also do this to remove the guitar solo in some songs where it's coming either through the left or right channel. I've completely removed guitar solos to some songs and recorded my own over it. Pretty neat. Only works for some songs though.

Pretty cool tool. I wish I had some time to play around with it. But, my boss insists I actually show up for work most of the time! If I could only figure out how to win the lottery, then I would have all the time in the world.

Cool tips. Thanks for that.

I'll be sure to give this a try.

What a cool tool !

I was able to bring down the vocals (in some Greenday songs ) to that point where it can be used as a BT.

Thanks Mike
