I know the feeling! I'd been playing guitar for some years and in all that time never left the acoustic stable, but 2 years ago I decided to buy an Epiphone Les Paul. It duly arrived at home and I was allwed to take it out of its box to make sure it was all intact. Then it was taken away and I couldn't see it till Christmas morning.
Needless to say I grumbled and moaned but to no avail. But what the hell - she's lovely really! The wife isn't bad either :-D
