Playing in Different Positions

B.B. King's been sitting for years.

I play mostly in standing position, I usually only sit down if I'm learning a new song and I have to look at the tabs/notes.

Like Wes in that picture just last night I had my SG in pretty much the same position, lately I've been trying to force myself out of this "bad habit", but if Wes does it too, then it must be ok! :D

I find (especially the SG and other neck heavy guitars) it easier to play when I'm lightly pressing the guitar with my right hand, it won't nose dive so easily. Sometimes when I really get into I've noticed myself moving the neck forward even more and I'm practically holding the guitar in my armpit! :)
