here are some songs that i really like the sound of, and want to figure out by ear, at least in the next month.
little martha - allman bros
romeo and juliet - dire straits
yellow ledbetter - pearl jam
going to california - led zeppelin (although it has a second guitar or a mandolin or something on it)
post some songs you want to learn.
I would love to get to the point in my playing where I could learn to play leads accurately and 'at speed'.
For instance.. Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits) lead and solo in Sutans of Swing.
Playing an instrument is good for your soul
I'm all over the place with what I want to either learn or am learning. I concentrated on Stepenwolf's The Pusher and Allman Brothers Melissa. Who knows what tomorrow may bring.

"I wonder if a composer ever intentionally composed a piece that was physically impossible to play and stuck it away to be found years later after his death, knowing it would forever drive perfectionist musicians crazy." - George Carlin
After you've been playing for awhile all songs will become easy. Practice playing by Ear. Then you can hear a song and you'll be able to play right along with it. Some maybe a little harder than others but you'll work it out.
