I've been wandering if there is a different sound from 1 cabinet and 2 cabinets.
I have a peavey 5150 half-stack and have been thinking on buying another cab for it.
Does it change the sound? Volume? Bass? Treble? Mids?
or does it just make the sound more open?

Two cabs mean that you can blow both ear drums at once, instead of having to do each side individually.

Yuppers, basically you're just capable of more volume before you start to break up. This can be good or bad depending on wheather you enjoy the coloring that a hint of speaker cone break up gives.

You can also spread your cabs out, which creates a wider and more even dispersion if that's something you need for gigs.

As with all things, try it out before you buy, you may decide you like it, you may decide it's not right for your applications. Buy to fit your needs.

Do something you love and you'll never work a day in your life...

Haha, so it's louder eh?
Welp, that's pretty much all I need to hear.
Give me another month and I'll be making posts telling how I lost partial hearing!
No just kidding, but yah, I want to get another cab.
I have a slant cab, so I think I'll get a straight cab, or should I get anothe slant and sit them side by side?
