Hey everyone,
I had a bit of a problem. I was wondering if there is anyway to attach a mp3 file to a video (wmv) file. I know there is a program for the opposite, taking the audio out of a video file. Basically heres the deal.

My mom needed to record her voice over a video file (she does voice overs) and I figured, hey, we can use Audacity, so she won't need to pay for a studio.

So, we took the video file, which has music playing in the backround, and took the music out of it with some program. She then recorded the voice over bit over the music in Audacity. We now have a mp3 audio file, and a wmv video file. Anyway to put that mp3 back onto the wmv?

Thanks much team.

I'm a Mac guy and I'll spare you the 'Get a Mac' speech. But doesn't Windows have a Movie Making free program with it? If so, you should be able to open your movie fine and line up your audio in a timeline format. Then just have it render or make the movie.

It's very easy to do with Mac, so I'd imagine Windows has to have something similar.

check out my website for good recording/playing info

I'm not really sure. Do you have any idea what the name of this program is?

Thanks for the reply.

Windows Movie Maker, I have mine under Accessories- Entertainment, not sure if it came that way. Also I can't remember, but it may want to put everything into it's own format. I mush prefer Magix Movie editing programs, but it's been a while since I played with them.

Next computer will definately be a Mac...
