What effect would Tex-Mex Pups have on my 2003 Fender MIM strat? would they still be ok for light rock and classic rock blues and metal?? or will they only be for blues and blues rock and not metal so should i just buy the powerhouse strat already equiped with them? and keep my other strat stock??

Thanks Guys

Id go with getting more guitars. More guitars is always a good thing :).

Tex-Mex would just give you a slightly higher output, and it wont really make that much difference (espescially if you use cheaper SS amps). If you ask me, not worth the cost to upgrade or replace the guitar.

You should try Fender Texas Specials, they have a lot of punch.
