I know its an added cost so maybe you couldnt get one now.. But dont they make a pedal that has the same tremlo effect when you step on it? That would take the worry out of taking the guitar out of tune or bending the neck.
Personally I dont like the whammy bars. Was a big fan of that music way back when.. but they seem to be more trouble than they are worth.
