Nice blues by 2 greats but I don't recall seeing a finger picking (pinching) technique quite like this? :shock:

Its pretty common technique amoungst the acoustic crew. You have to play like that to get those bass notes. Hes just strumming his chords on the treble strings with his pointer and middle finger and hitting the bass note E with his thumb. I believe Robert Johnson was the first to make that a popular acoustic blues technique.
