I have a query about a guitar tab i found for the Stevie wonder Song " Visions ", the second track of his brilliant album "innervisions"

I was just wondering what your opinions were on how to play the chords written in this interpretation. i havnt come across some of them before as my theory knowledge is limited. thanks for taking the time to look at this.

VISIONS
S. Wonder

I found this on a message board one day - the quality of the transcription
is stunning! I wish I knew the author so I could give him credit.

| Gm6 x 2 | Gm/D x 2 | Dm x 2 | F#aug x 4 |
| Bm9 x 4 | Dbm9 x 4 | Bm9 x 4 | Dbm9 x 4 ||

B-Section: "I am not one..."

|| Bm/A x 4 |Bm/Ab x 2 | Db7 x 2 | F#m x 1 | F#m/F x 1 |F#m/Eb x 2

One possible way:

Bm9 [x 2 0 2 2 2]
Dbm9 [x 4 1 1 0 0]
Bm/A [x 0 0 4 2 2]
Gm6 [3 1 0 0 3 0]
Gm/D [x x 0 3 3 3]
Bm/Ab [x 1 0 4 2 2]
Db7 [x 4 6 4 6 4]
F#m [2 4 4 2 2 2]
F#m/F [1 4 4 2 2 2]
F#m/Eb [x x 1 2 2 2]
Ab7sus4 [4 6 4 6 4 4]
Ab7 [4 6 4 5 4 4]
Dbm [x 4 6 6 5 4]
Dbm/B [x 2 6 6 5 4]
Dbm/Bb [x 1 6 6 5 4]
Ebm [x 6 8 8 7 6]
F#aug [x x 4 3 3 2]

T *think* these are correct, and I seriously hope there is a nice trick which would make these chords easier, for this seems hell to play...

Actually, I'm pretty confident in these chord voicings. Hopefully this is helpful:

VISIONS by Stevie Wonder
Transcribed by Chris Corsale

These are the chords; one guitar strums and guitar fingerpicks/arpeggiates, so take your choice! In several cases the chord's bass note is included from the upright bass, making it harder to play than the actual guitar tracks from the recording, but it's so worth it.

GUITAR CHORDS USED:

Bm11: X20420 or Bm9: X20422 (used interchangeably)
C#m9: X46444
A13: 5X567X or 5X5670
G13: 3X345X
D°add11: X5678X
C°add11: X3456X
F#7aug5: 2XX332
G#m7b5: 4X443X
F#sus4/C#: X4442X
F#m: XX4222
F#m/F: XX3222
F#m/D#: XX1222
G#7sus4: 464644
G#: 466544
C#m: X4665X
C#m/B: 7X665X
C#m/A#: 6X665X
D#m7b5: X6767X

INTRO:

||: Bm9* | C#m9 | Bm9* | C#m9 :||

*or Bm11 with the open 1st string

(The electric guitar, of course, does the octave slide from B to C# and back over the Bm9 chord, and from C# to D# and back over the C#m9 chord.)

VERSE ("People hand in hand"):

Bm9 | C#m9 | Bm9 | A13 G13 | D°add11 C°add11 | F#7aug5

(VAMP) Bm9 | C#m9 | Bm9 | C#m9

BRIDGE ("I'm not one who make believes"):

A13 | G#m7b5 F#sus4/C# | F#m F#m/F F#m/D# | G#sus4 G#

C#m C#m/B | C#m/A# | D#m7b5 G# | [2/4] C#m7 | [4/4] F#7aug5
