I own a original crybaby, but it just doesnt have that punch or power I want. I've been looking at some Vox pedals, but I am not sure what is good and what is crap. I hear Vox is good and I also hear crybabies are. I just want something that can give me the extreme bass and the ear busting treble.

GRACIAS

i have a crybaby classic with the fasel inductor. i thought it sounded more "wah-like" to my ears...the VOX wah came close though.

i've tried alot of wah pedals, i have to go with the morley bad horsie 2, i paid about 180 bucks for mine, there pretty expensive, but this imo is the best wah pedal there is. 8)

I have a vintage reissue Vox. I really like it.
Morleys have great reviews.
go to Harmony Central User Review . a good source for feedback.

Just a comment: I don't understand why everyone i talk to has problems with the dunlop original crybaby wah, I have it and i think it's really great, especially for the price. I dunno, I guess I'm less picky when it comes to my sound or something

I had heard that crybabies have tendency to break in one particular area (i think its the tray, or something like that), and that it doesnt pay to get it fixed.

You cant go wrong with a Vox, but its going to cost more.

You can also try a Snarling Dog, they have more options as far as the tone you're looking for.

I pity the fool, but also suggest ways he might better himself.

Hey, I just bought a 535Q, and it has a Fasel! Why is the crybaby classic 99$? The 535Q has wah range, volume control, varible q, and it's only 109$!
