I lock the door to this room when I'm not in it....that way I KNOW nothing's going to disappear, as I have both keys...
Hoovering? Cleaning? I'll do it myself....I can think of literally hundreds of things that are more fun than looking through a full vacuum cleaner for small items....
And as for tidying stuff away - I have a place for everything, and know where everything is - last time I let Marilyn in to clean, took me about a week to put everything back where it was.....example...
Daughter - doing homework...."Dad - where's the Himalayas?"
Vic - preoccupied..."Dunno, love - Marilyn's tidied up......"
