That Epi is an absolute gem Gerry. A very nice guitar indeed. I'll bet the wait is killing you.
Enjoy it when you get it.
Some clips would be nice.

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.
It was them that turned me to drink.
Thanks Chukster I'll be recording my first take on this when it arrives and I get five minutes LOL. I'll post up a link.

Those who can't dance always blame the band.
edit: how do I post pics? there not working.
Odd about the pics. :? maybe Photobucket doesn't allow that sort of direct link? Do they have thumbnail pics instead - or some other style that you're supposed to link to? Rings a vague bell, but I can't recall the answer as I've never used them myself.
Maybe this kind of link would be help while you're finding out the answer?
Looks nice anyway. :D
Chris
Thanks for posting the pics, and Thats really weird how It did that.

An Epiphone Les Paul special 11 Ltd edition
Nice guitar, not as heavy as the Les Paul standard, about the same weight as a Tele but with the guts of a Les Paul.
Can get a nice jangly sound on the bridge with the tone on 10 and rip into any Santana number on the neck. Great tone machine, great action, nice looking with gold hardware. A bargain @ 100 euros
Be excellent to each other & party on dudes!

This is the most painful thread and my eyes are bleeding.
Rodders and biker, those two guitars are nothing short of stunning. That hard case with the white fur looks good enough to sleep in.
Bish
"I play live as playing dead is harder than it sounds!"
Rodders : That's one BEAUTIFUL guitar. Hope it plays as good as it looks.
Jim : I think that explorer puts out some great tones for you. Very droolworthy, I should say. Hope I find such pleasant surprises when I reach home...
Thats a nice axe Biker, what is the spec on it ?

Beuatiful guitars! I really like the colours on the Epi Special. Would I be a 'traitor' if I were to mention that I am thinking of adding a Mandolin to my string section? I am looking at one with the same colouring as the Special. I was looking at a Gibson mandolin on eBay the other day ... $22K American! Just looking tho :-(
