the bar for my tremolo is loose and is kind of a pain because you cant use it for vibrato because its so loose cant tighten it up any more or it starts to get resistance its a stock strat style bridge. does something need to be replaced or does the whole bridge have to be and if so is it posible to get a locking nut and a floyd rose put on it?

Could be a couple of reasons for this. The bar or inertia block have stripped threads. Tremolo Arm Springs, These are small black plated springs that fit inside the threaded hole in the inertia block. That keeps your whammy arm from flopping around.
