i have an acoustic guitar and an electric guitar. this is what i've been doing for cleanup on both of them. i wipe the strings down with a flannel cloth after playing and i also wipe the body and back of neck to remove any fingerprints and oil.
should i be using any type of polish or other cleaner occasionally?
should i do anything to the frets? i heard that if they dry out or aren't properly conditioned, that this can cause a problem.
any proven/tested solutions and product recommendations welcomed.
