My classical guitar has some electrics built in, and I'm getting buzz now when I hit the strings. I extend the pack from the body and the buzz goes away. Is there any way I can fix this? I can't afford to leave this guitar with a luthier for a couple weeks because I've got a big gig coming up next month, and I need all the practice time with this guitar that I can get.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Oh, the guitar is an Ibanez EW20KOENT

describe the pack -- velcroed in? slot-mounted? ….

without knowing any more: I usually put a bit of open cell (squishy) foam in the battery compartment to stop rattles. sometimes the wiring is the problem and requires a foam wrapping or simple anchoring with adhesive tie-wrap mounts.

oops, sorry, I wasn't aware there was anything that was different. It's a slot mounted one.

I'm thinking the foam will do the trick, because when I pull it out and let it hang, then it's fine.

Great suggestion! I'll give it a shot!
