ok i installed i killswitch it works great and then while i was closing the back my friend jumped out of my door scared the crap outa me and I jerked my hands back and it pulled both of the wires that make sound from the pickups in the output jack so i taped it back on but the guitar doesnt sound the same, gain isnt as heavy and theres a very faint hum
would soldering them instead of taping them fix this what should i do?

you will need to have these wires resoldered.
