Thank you for all the info. The head stock looks exactly like that... only issue is mine has a split, which someone poorly glued back on, right where the first tuner is. I cant find any info on the X Series at all. I wish I could learn the history behind it.
After reviewing all of it I think it is going to cost me more than its worth easily and more than I was hoping to spend. I cant make up my mind on whether I want to finish doing this or buying a kit so I can still have the joy of building and painting a guitar. The kit for a strat on guitar fetish is only $90. It will cost me about $150 to fully finish the Kent. I just cant decide.
