Hi guys, just wondering if you could help me here.
I was putting a wedge of wood underneath my neck and then when i restrung the stings were all hitting the frets, so i removed the wood and then they were all still hitting... then all my strings snapped. What should i do?
sounds like an excuse to get a new guitar.
"i was putting a "wedge" of wood underneath my neck"???? sounds reasonable to me

Why were you putting a wedge of wood under the neck?
Sounds like a job for the repair shop to me.

I put the wedge underneath to change the angle of the neck. See here http://www.frets.com/FRETSPages/Luthier/Technique/Guitar/NeckReset/BCRIchReset/bcrichreset1.html
It was cos my neck was waaay to high and the action was to big.
So, guitar repair shop is the go? Or maybe Ill go with Lefty's idea.
