I'm planning to buy myself a guitar in parts and then put it together myself.

what about the quality of Warmoth?

Warmoth is top-quality. I don't know if I would consider them to be superior to the other licensed stuff, since they cost SOOO much more than Aallparts and Mighty-Mite. I don't know if the extra expense is worth it. For my money I think Allparts is the way to go. Most of their Fender-licensed stuff is made by Fender Japan and the quality is very high.

thanks for letting me know about allparts, i'm going to check that out too,
'cause warmoth is pretty expensive, knowing it are just parts, and besides that, the paintings are too expensive too i think

Hey - how did it go? Another options is WD parts. They are also made in Japan (I believe).

For pure appearance of wood, Warmoth is pretty exceptional. If you plan to paint it, then go with Allparts or mighty mite; if you want a vintage neck profile, also go with Mighty Mite; their C and V necks are amazing.

Ok, I need to retract my statement. I just bought a Warmoth Pro Radius neck and it is every bit as nice as a Fender USA neck. EVERY BIT. Wow.
