Received a wonderful Classical Guitar Book for Fathers Day, and Ferdinando Carulli pieces from the Classic Era have been fun to play from it. I'll have another one up tomorrow.

I'm still learning to read sheet music proficiently so there are some slight timing issues while my brain catches up with my fingers at a couple points. But this is one of the easier pieces...his Waltz from this book will be up soon, which is just as easy, but sounds really nice!

But I love the crescendo and de-crescendo ways in this, I'm not used to doing that, but I tried my best with this!

As I said in youtube, when I watch your videos, I feel like playing classical guitar. It is curious, it does not happen with other videos and players. I guess you make it very easy (I mean, when you play it, it seems very easy).

Carulli pieces are cool. While I was looking for some info about Carulli, I found this site http://www.classicalguitarschool.net/ It has many pieces and it seems they are good. Perhaps it is interesting for you.

Anyway, thanks for sharing!

Nuno you find the best websites! LOL

Thanks for your comments and I'll be sure to delve deeper into that website, I did see the video of Waltz, which is what I had just finished transcribing. My book just says Waltz, though, the video said Waltz in C Op.124 or something like that I've got no idea with that is yet. But it's the same music I have, but I'll figure it out!

I remember finding that site one quiet afternoon when I was working in Germany. I just sat there printing out all 1800 pages of solo guitar material and putting it in ring binders.

Joe, as usual, a pleasure hearing you play. I tried to comment on youtube but it wouldn't let me. I was just saying how nice it is when the bass notes come in around 1:00 into the piece. Very well done.

I enjoyed that very much.

Do you ever go back and listen to your playing from, say, 12 months ago? I think you would be rather pleasantly surprised by just how well you are improving!

What I lack in talent and natural ability, I will have to make up with stubborness.

Thanks guys alot!

Taso: The Youtube comment came up, so I did get that! Thanks for commenting, yeah I like the contrast between the two sections.

BkAngel: The only videos I have from a year ago were me doing mostly Country covers, the only fingestyle thing I have is Beautiful Girls, and that to me sounds good even compared to what I do now...BUT I think the huge difference is it takes me about 1/3 of the time to learn something because of patters I recognize and muscle memory and independence. Over the past 2 weeks I've leaned a few classical things, and have learned a few fingerstyle things that I just haven't recorded yet.

Plus I think my standards are a bit higher as well, I won't put something up until I think it's ready, and not "eh, it's okay", unless I'm tracking a learning progress.
