wow. how did I miss this. the bass sounds good. I had been wondering about those Squires. the few I checked out the fret ends were harsh. the neck felt like a saw (almost). it is nice to hear a guitar bass instead of a midi bass.
you play bass well.
and a favorite song too.
thanks and good job.
Nice update, Nuno!
The bass sounds great and you've got lots of nifty ideas in there.
It sounds like you're having a blast! 8)

Thanks guys! :D
Just experimenting and having some fun. It was funny play again the keyboard. I have practically forgotten the most basic things. Fortunately the song only has four chords!
I didn't like the Squiers. My experience was very similar: a poor quality with lots of faults. This guitar is different. I read Squier (or Fender) is producing some "high level" instruments in this series and also in the Vintage Modified. It seems the people buy some Squiers and change the electronics and some components. They are improving the quality in these two series for avoiding that upgrade.
Obviously they are not Fender MIA but there are very good details and the price is similar (slightly higher) to the Squier Standard series. For example, the bridge in my bass is much better that the Standard MIM ones.
I want to check out some guitars in these series, too. Just for comparing.
it is nice to hear a guitar bass instead of a midi bass.
If you need some bass notes played badly by a clumsy bassist for your next song, let me know! :D
Perhaps for the next collaboration: Small train!
Thanks!
nuno. you will be hearing from me............. 8)
