Hello, heres a couple tracks i recorded in my room, i dont have a band or anything. Ive been playing for 6 years without any lessons. Ive recently started playing acoustic. I love blues, almost everything i play is completely improvised, as are these.

1st: Floyd inspired mellow tune, i like the solo though (please forgive the mistake at the end, you'll know when you hear it :))

2nd: John Lee Hooker inspired slow acoustic blues riff, forgive my lack of skill hehe i've only just started acoustic. Let me know your thoughts!

Thanks!

Welcome to GN!

Your playing is pretty good. I especially liked the Pink Floyd inspired song, but your acoustic blues was really good too. 8)

Hope to see you around the boards. :D

Crazy,

I'm with Dan. I really enjoyed the Pink Floyd style song.

But you really caught Hooker's feel on the Blues number.

You should check out Online Collaborations and Jams sometime

I think you would enjoy it and there's always room for new blood.

They're both good stuff, but I especially like the acoustic blues piece.

"forgive my lack of skill" ?? You're kidding, right?! It is very cool.

You really need to get a band going. You're definately good enough. Now get out there and make music! Express yourself!

Thanks for the feedback! wow, i didnt know i'd get such good comments! I'll definitely get on to the online collab section, well, thanks again! maybe i'll do some more recordings, I improvise pretty much everything (i know only a couple hendrix tracks from beginning to end.). What i normally play is more electric blues, But i dont have any good backing tracks to record to. If i find time to lug my amp and guitar down to my computer, ill record a session tonight. Thanks again!
