Yesterday, I got my cheapo Tele down off the wall and started messing around (as you do). I've been going through several new things and decided to run a quick recording off.

So, with warts and all, here is Maria Elena à la Hank Marvin

http://soundclick.com/share?songid=8600273

It's amazing how changing to a 9 1/2" radius from 12"+ throws you out

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.

Hi Greybeard
It was a very good Hank B Marvin "messing around".
It was fun to hear something else on electric guitar that was not blues -- rock -- Metal
/Kalle

Tanglewood TW28STE (Shadow P7 EQ) acoustic
Yamaha RGX 320FZ electric guitar/Egnater Tweaker 15 amp.
Yamaha RBX 270 bass/Laney DB 150 amp.

There were a couple of fluffs in there, but if you didn't notice................................. 8)

Next will be their version of Going Home, I think.

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.

So, as promised Going Home, again a Hank Marvin version.

Going Home

I got sick of messing around with it. Late night recording, too much red wine ( a nice South African wine) and a loss of quality in my signal chain (the "sparkling" highs are amazingly flat and I'm not sure exactly which bit is responsible).

Sorry, I'm a Virgo and we get a bit pedantic about things.................................

But, in spite of that, I hope you enjoy it.

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.

That's nice, I really enjoyed Maria Elena especially and think that they are both very well done. Thanks! :note2:

Good work, this remains me a lot of things. Maybe you want to do (if not yet) "Sleep Walk" (Santo & Johny Farina), I'm sure with that great sound you get with your Tele, that song will be that good. Thanx for the memories. Cheers!

Than you.
Actually, I do a different version of Sleepwalk, which I have thought of recording.

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
