http://www.soundclick.com/cgarnett

i made a recording with my amp last week to show some people what it sounded like on guitarlodge.com

what do you guys think?

It must be getting early, clocks are running late....

Paint by number morning sky looks so phony....

Dawn is breaking everywhere light a candle, curse the glare....

Draw the curtains, I don't care 'cause it's all right....

Both the amp and the player sound good.

Nice mellow sound. I like it.

Nice tone!

You do a good job of establishing mini-themes in the improv/solo.

I think I heard a little sweep action in there too, nice moves.

My only advice is to be careful with your bends. With some of them, you were either bending out of tune, or out of key. Reign that in.

You had nice vibrato, when you used it. Use it more often! Vibrato will bring a lot more feeling into it.

Liked the variety, you kept it interesting that way.

Don't be afraid to slow down. You had a few bumbled notes, probably because you were trying to go too fast. Speed isn't the most important thing. Most of it was spot on though. Maybe get a little more comfortable with the licks that you bummed a note on, so you can do them faster.

Overall very nice, I liked the tone, and your phrasing a lot.

Keep it up :)

the only thing i noticed is that there were a couple of timing issues, it seemed liek you held a note to long or to short and then some of ur bends are a little sharp or a little flat. i would work on that, other than that a good song, how long have you been playing for?

Overall good job - some parts better than others - keep working :)

Its a great thing when you realize you still have the ability to surprise yourself.
