I remixed Oh Darling. I took out one tele track and added an improved version.
Great stuff!
Not that much of a country fan, but I'm more than willing to make an exception for that. :)
Some really good tracks on the rest of the page too. Can't think why I haven't checked it out before. Colour me envious....

How did I miss this one?
Great recording!!!
All three guitar tracks are great. They really add to the song.
You are your own one man band army.
Who needs a band when you can lay down your own tracks and not have to deal with the personalities and attitude?
And you don't have to split the royalties!
No need to ask "Are we having fun yet?"
The answer is obvious.
Did I say "Great voice"?

It's the rock that gives the stream its music . . . and the stream that gives the rock its roll.
hey guys. thanks for the feedback. one man band..good one. the only personality I have to deal with is mine.
some days...I tell ya.
Really cool groove here. Like everything about it, including when the harmonies is just a touch out of whack, gives it that raw bluesy feel. Nice clean guitar tones, too.
Too Kool fer school 8) I really love the tremolo guitar :note2:

I first heard this tune from a goofy, well not goofy, three CD box set of 'fabulous country hits'. the kind of thing one sees on TV.
well, the box is full of hits. really good ones. I love Tammy and George duets. but this Okanes song really struck me as interesting. it is mainly a one chord song...which I like to play, especially in recording. the harmonies grew on me at first. then learning the song I grew to like the structure.
maplebaby...thanks for the nod.
Great song - great playing - what can I say? Very cool 8)
...only thing I know how to do is to keep on keepin' on...
