Hi:
It's been awhile since I checked out these forums, but our spring vacation (I'm a school teacher) just started, so I thought I'd look for an online jam to join. Anyway, I really liked the sound of a backing track by Margaretem called "Rock Ballad", so I hope you'll pardon my solo attempt at jamming over the tune.
The sound is my Carvin DC-127 through my Behringer GM-110 into Garageband. Please let me know what you think. I've called the tune "Spring Break--Rock Ballad".
Pretty good. 8) Maybe try mixing the BT & solo guitar volumes alittle closer together next time. You've got the rock ballad solo "lighters in the air" prize! :D

Very nice! :D
I tried several times to play the file from the site via the "Play hi-fi" button. Each time, a few seconds into your solo, it quit and gave me an error message that Windows Media Player had encountered a problem. Troubleshooting didn't come up with any problems on my system, and other WMP files play ok.
So finally I downloaded your file and WMP was able to play it that way. So not sure what the problem is/was, but thought you should know in case others have the same experience with it.
Enjoy your spring break!
Margaret
When my mind is free, you know a melody can move me
And when I'm feelin' blue, the guitar's comin' through to soothe me ~
Nice song! Nice songs! :)
The "Play hi-fi" button is a link to a m3u file (playlist) which contains a link to a stream. It is opened directly by iTunes on Mac computers. As the site is a "Mac-like" site, I don't know if it is the reason.
On the other hand, probably there are problems with the server. I also got some troubles with other songs.
