Nuno and I took an American garage rock classic collaboration a little bit further.
for your listening pleasure we offer Samba Tears

I love playing rhythm guitar. the Latin tempo was fun for me.
on bass, Nuno played perfectly; staying ahead of the beat.
in Latin music the bass leads the beat; it drives the song's tempo.
makes me want to move my feet.
Phenomenal guys, this sounds wonderful!
In Space, no one can hear me sing!
Thanks Joe! It was fun to 'convert' the classic garage rock song to this slow samba rhythm. The drum track is very attractive and the 'choir voices' sound very relaxing.
Oh. man, I loved this.
Closing in on 96 spins....
:)

Oh, yeh . . . now who would have thunk? . . . .
A Latin version of 96 Tears . . .
Yep I could bump hips with the wife with this one . . .
(heh, I'm talking about dancing, OK? . . . get your mind out of the gutter)
Good job . . . you two are going to have to give yourselves a name . . . Nunobyte . . . or something.
It's the rock that gives the stream its music . . . and the stream that gives the rock its roll.
or maybe Douno or NuByte
"It's all about stickin it to the man!"
It's a long way to the top if you want to rock n roll!
Nuno and I have names...Nuno, if I may...
I go by ' Renaldo El Perito' and
Nuno...'Garato de Ipanema'.
if my Spanish is good my name is Ron the little dog or puppy.
does Nuno's mean 'garage in Ipanema'.?
thanks for listening. we have covered Funk, Garage, and Latin. I think we will be serving up some Blues next.
I think Renaldo is a Brazilian or Portuguese name and perhaps it could be equivalent to the Italian Renato. They also have Ronaldo that I think is a different name and it sounds equal in Spanish. I am not sure, so you can be Ron perfectly. In fact you can be whoever you want: Ron, Ren or even Ran!
Now, Garage in Ipanema sounds very similar to the samba! Os brasileros somos assim!
On the other hand, Garoto is boy, and garota is girl: Garota de Ipanema, que coisa mais linda! :note1:
Anyway, I am only the bass player. Who remember the bass players' names? Who remember the bass players' faces? In fact, do the bass players exist?
I vote for "Dogbite and His Band"! 8)
Thanks for listening and thanks for the comments guys! :D
thanks for the clarifications, Nuno.
as a little kid I my father called me Ran.
db works here. no Y.
Nicely done. Kind of a smooth, cool laid back beat. Sunglasses at night kind of vibe.
I was called something in spanish once, but I'm pretty certain I should not repeat here.

Wow! I need to start recording some stuff. That sounded good.

Not sure why, but after you posted this I was thinking what that song would be like with some late 70's hard rock flare to it. Kind of like what Van Halen did to "Pretty Woman".

You guys put a cool spin on this one. 8)
