Hi people,
So I have a Behringer Xenyx 1204 USB mixer connected to my PC (vista) running Cubase LE4. I can get sound out of the monitors connected to the mixer but cannot seem to record sound into cubase's tracks via the mixer's microphone input. I have assigned the mixer under cubase's device setup and have also set it up as the default audio processor of my PC. So what am I missing or doing wrong? Please help me out as this is really bugging me.
Thanks in advance.
One thing I can guess is that have you assigned inputs and outputs correctly? It starts to record, but only records silence, right?
I mean, I have an 8-channel card and I need to set the I/O in Cubase to 10 in 10 out, and *then* for each track I record, I need to select for instance 'input 2' to channel in and 'stereo out' to output - in the channel strip I mean. It won't record the 'mixer output' channels to tracks, but instead you have to select to record from the actual input the mic etc. is attached to, for each track.
So do you have the correct input selected? Other than that, I can't think of why would it not record OK.
