I have just got my Boss BR1180CD back from Roland here in the UK - a little story and warning for you, don't plug it into the power supply for your laptop in error (like I did)....lots of damage and a new hard drive later, and an empty wallet. I won't be doing that again!!
Anyway, i have no problem getting the metronome to click to 4/4 time, and to adjust the speed of the beats . My problem comes when i want to do something in 3/4 time.
Can anyone tell me what i need to do? Any advice MUST be in the format of
1. do this
2. then do that
3. then do the other...
Because i am technologically challenged, in the extreme!

First of all, you need to create a new user rhythm pattern based on the preset metro rhythm pattern. Then you need to create a new user rhythm arrangement using the new pattern.
If you need help to do this, let me know and I will post step-by-step instructions for you. I would need to know if the recorder you have is Version 1 or Version 2.
