Well finally my new computer arrived. I now have no problemo's with audacity crashing but I still have a problem with the sound quality. The tracks I record seem very muffled, As I said before I record by plugging my axe into the line in on my Eurorack 1202 and then it is connected from the left channel Main line out on the eurorack to the Line in on the sound card. Any ideas?

I use the Output L & R CD/Tape (it doesn't say CD on yours). You need a RCA cable for it.

The "Main Out" is for powered speakers.

Hi Mike.
so I guess I need an RCA Y split to 1/8" male stereo cord for the sound card line in right? Or do I go from RCA connectors to a mono? Thanx in advance.

Mike
Got two stereo Male 1/8" to RCA splitters. Ran one from the CD/tape out on the mixer to the line in on the computer, the other from the line out on the computer to the auxilliary input RCA jacks on the stereo. Still some sound settings, Eq etc to learn but now sounds much better.Thanx for your help.
