I finally got my MIDI up and running. amazing thing it is.
now I have an idea for a song that requires some sound effects samples. I can record birds singing in my backyard, but a train, fog norn etc, are rare things in my neighborhood.
does anyone know of a site for downloading these things?

they have tons of samples. looks like they supply the film industry.
I found my sound effects.
I purchased a four CD set of sound fx about four years ago and had great fun with them in the early days but the novelty wore off LOL like most things my friend if anything is any good you normally have to pay for it.
I think free means nobody in their right mind would pay for it :)
