Here's the deal. I have a nice Martin Acoustic, but no pick-up, so I have to mic the guitar. No big deal. But it's a pain in the neck lugging around three guitars when I may be able to get away with just two electrics and leave my Martin at home.

I came across this a MF and wondered if anyone had any experience with it or could recommend another option.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I have tried that one. Don't bother with it if you are even remotely trying to get a somewhat acceptable sound. I have tried a bunch but never heared an effect that could change an electric into a proper accoustic sound.

I have a Pandora PX4, which has an acoustic and a piezo simulation. Both sound like electric acoustics, not acoustics.

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.

avoid simulators. not even close.

have you looked at Taylor's new guitar, the TT or T5 look good.
I heard one last week. a very interesting concept.

Thanks for the feedback.

I really don't need perfect tone. I just thought it would be cool to be able to switch over and accompany certain songs (Patience, Midnite Train, Heavens Door, etc) with a "somewhat" acoustical sound. Are they really that bad?

I have never been a pedal and effects guy (slight reverb is and a bit of distortion sometimes) but I thought this might be a cool addition. You know, I would be happy with just adding a bit of an acoustic flavor to the songs without switching guitars.

Still not worth it?
