Does anyone know of a halfstack guitar amp/cabinet that is really easy on the wallet...like maybe..$500.00 or less (preferably less)
thanks
Why does it need to be a half stack? For that kind of money you could get a really nice combo amp.
Ask around a few musicians and the newspaper in your area. Sometimes you'll run into someone selling one. I did see once that crate and Randell have 1/2 stacks for around 700.00.
The shipping can run the price up.

Well, here's a Crate half-stack for under $500. I have owned Crate amps before, didn't care too much for them, could never get a sound I liked. But that's me.
For $100 more you can go Ibanez.

^^ good idea
ReflectionsFading6 for a hard Rock band having an impressive backline stacked amps have kind of been in the for front. Sure you can get some great sound and tone from smaller amps, but if your also wanting the look you'll need 4x12 cabinets behind you.
I use to have a few that where just for show and only one of them was really on.
