I'm stuck at my choice, whether to buy a used
Marshall Valvestate 8280 to about 5000 norwegian kroner, equivialent to 730$ or 399£
OR
A new Randall RH100SC /G2 at the price of 5590 norwegian kroner equivialent to 816$ or 446£.
I have a budget of about 816$ or 446£ (Noting more than that)
Should I buy another amp than one of these two?
I play mainly heavy metal like Iron Maiden, Metallica, Black sabbath etc. but also jazzy stuff and blues too.
I don't give a damn about whether it's a solid state or tube amp.
I'm just wondering what fits my purposes and sounds good.

But maybe, just maybe, the poster is not just interested in the brand logo, but also with sound? And how many great bands use Valvestates? In my opinion, for metal, the Randall would be my choice, It is solid, great distortin, and does what it should do. I absolutely do NOT like marshall MG/(A)VT amps.

It's all just a matter of taste, try them both, pick them one you love best.
