hi guys - this is my first post.
I just got back into gigging and I use Line 6 gear a lot since it's top 40 - Rock to Techno to Funk to R&B, to....well you get the idea.
Our band has like 90 songs on our repetoire. And they love to shuffle them around.
This is the first band that uses music stands on stage, although I've seen other do them. They keyboardist doesn't he uses a laptop to get away with it.
Well, I bit the bullet and bought a 3rd generation iPad. It arrives at the end of this week.
I've read some people use it for sheet music, some use it for recording (Garageband is $5 for it), and one guy I read even gigged with it - AmpliTube is modeling software with 5 amp models. For about $45 you can get the adapter and the software. I don't plan on doing that, I have an HD500 that hasn't seen the stage yet, but maybe for practice?? Nice not to lug a 62 lb amp up 3 flights of stairs.
Anyway I wondered if anybody here has played with them. I'd like to hear your experiences.
