Especially the Boss ones, are the older Japanese models really superior to the new ones. Or is this simply collectors' mania?

Now one very happy owner of a Japanese green label CE-2 Chorus, even if it was a ridiculous price for a used pedal Thanks for the advice. :D

$125 Canadian, at one of the 'local' shops, so definately no bargain, But, living outside of the US I fnd it hard to take real advantage of ebay, especially on sought after items
