Haven't a clue where Arcadia is, but welcome anyway....
I'd been playing the same three chords for years, then I found GN and discovered.....gasp....minors, sevenths, sus4ths etc....
Lots to learn here, stick around - lots of us over 40-s - and have fun!

But my Arcadia is in the San Gabriel valley outside of Los Angeles California.
I've been using 7ths for a while. I am now adding 6ths, sus, 9ths and barre chords to my skill set. Normally if a song calls for it I start to learn it. If a second song does I have an easier time remembering it
