Hey, what's up.
My name's Nick, although that username was already taken by an admin. I'm 20 years old and been playing guitar off and on for a few years, although every time I pick it back up I feel like I'm starting from scratch again. I currently attend college and am an Architecture major.

I just stumbled upon this website today and have been reading through lessons during class on my ipod touch. I am hoping that joining a community like this will help me progress faster and provide the inspiration needed to keep playing when I feel like giving up again.

Some music I'm interested in is Rock. I love Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chili Peppers, as well as Collective Soul, Linkin Park and others. You can check out more here: http://www.last.fm/user/nickroberts

Yeah, starting over sucks, but since I've found this site I feel real confident. The only problem is figuring out which lessons to do and what order to do them. It's hard to decide which area of my playing is weakest to figure out which lessons to concentrate on more.
