Nobody told us we were going to have an audience for Dress Rehearsal. A bunch of the local 11 year old kids who will be going up to the school where we're playing come September.
I was DI'd from my amp into the PA, so was the other guitarist, and neither of us could hear ourselves. So, at half-time we unplugged from the PA and adjusted the volume. That was better. We instantly sounded good. You can't beat a good old revolution in the band.
We did good. Roll on tonight's opening performance.
OK - the gear. I'm using my Shaftsbury Les Paul clone into a Marshall MG30DFX and there's a Danelectro FAB Overdrive on the frontline for when I need it.
