Well things are looking up a little, even though I now have a hand that looks as if it was put together by Dr Victor Frankenstein (body parts supplied by Messrs Burke & Hare)....

I can play open chords, but I can't play a single barre chord - hand is still a bit swollen, the main problem is that I can't lift my middle finger off the fretboard to change chords.

Keeping hard at it though....been writing some new songs, just got to wait till I'm physically capable of playing the buggers....

Thanks again for all your ncouragement & support.....

:D :D :D

Excellent, Vic! Just keep that middle finger moving as much as you can! We're all pulling for a complete recovery!

Be careful about exercising that middle finger in public!

Sounds like you're about to catch up with me. I'm not too good on barre chords, anyway.

I was just looking back over some old posts and stumbled on this - you know, I never realised I had so many good people rooting for me! So to all of you who sent me your good wishes, your prayers and your support, I thank you sooooo much!

I'm still not back to 100% of what I was capable of before the accident...and probably never will be again, at one time I didn't think I'd ever play a barre chord again. But with your help and your encouragement, I manged to get the old fingers moving again.

I know it's late - but thank you one and all for your words, your kindness and your encouragement. Im almost back to normal now - I REALLY couldn't have done it without you!

Huge thanks to you all again for your support and encouragement......

And here's a pic of that hand now - the knuckle is still swollen.....mobility is back to maybe about 70% of what it was before......

Maybe - hopefully, one day - it'll get back to close to 100% .........
