I know what you're thinking... Don't Do That To Me Again!

The GN forums were down due to a database crash, since about Friday afternoon. It took a while to work things out, but we are back to normal again. All I can say is, "these things happen." No one is more upset about it than me I can assure you.

s'okay!

Panicked until I found out it was the site and not me, at least it forced me to actually PLAY my guitar!

Glad you got it fixed and let me be the first to say Thanks for all your hard work here! :D

I wasn't all that worried, I know you and nick worked hard to get things right again :D This happens every other year or so.
We went and played with the horses today and took my sister and here family out for dinner. I only went through mild withdrawal symptoms

Paul, thanks for your (and all others involved) work in getting the site up. Isn't GN in the top ten guitar sites? #1 in my book and has been for 5 years or so. Love this place and the people. If only my personal life was this good!!!

I don't know! smokindog!

Front porch to sit and play banjo and guitar on and now horses and countryside and mountains just outside too.

No wonder your music is so good.

What a beautiful place Greenville S.C. must be to live?

Nice to see the forums up and running smoothly.

I was surprised by the yellow banners and SQL errors being displayed both here on forums and on the homepage.

GN always makes out from the server attacks and spam attacks.

We are the power :D !

I was a bit worried until I got an Email from Smokindog and found out
Nick and Paul were on the case.

Thanks for all your hard work

So no chance of an early go at this week's SSG topic then......

Good to see things back to normal. Gave me a chance to fool around with technology - still trying to master this drum machine thingy. I'm on the advanced programming level now - hitting TWO pads at once!

:D :D :D

The server problem also seems to have affected Paul's personal web site, as well as David Hodge's web site (which I discovered while trying to find e-mail addresses for them to give them an FYI, just in case they hadn't found out yet).
David got back to me fairly quickly and assured me that Nick and Paul were hard at work trying to fix it.

Thanks all for this and for your on-going labours in keeping this place running.
