You can tell I was going through my pics, to congratulate you! :D
I came across this. Well, YOU won't be needing a Les Paul either.
Explanation: the CRASH that rocked the country. Kyle Bush smashes treasured trophy at turbulent Nashville track win.

Kyle Busch is an idiot.

"I play live as playing dead is harder than it sounds!"
I remember when that happened. Sam Bass is the guy who painted the guitar and he was not happy with Kyle smashing it. He put a lot of effort into it and it was destroyed moments after Kyle touched it.
I think John Hiatt said it best.
"Oh it breaks my heart to see those stars
Smashing a perfectly good guitar
I don't know who they think they are
Smashing a perfectly good guitar"
"There out to be a law with no bail
Smash a guitar and you go to jail
With no chance for early parole
You don't get out till you get some soul"

Anybody who smashes a guitar is a (commonly used word that Guitar Noise won't allow.)
"A cheerful heart is good medicine."
Yeah, I remember seeing that on tv when he did it. What an idiot.

Yes in the midst of the inordinate controversy, which blew sky high, I believe he did the politically correct thing (for all of us who dont own or had not won Sam Bass guitars) and apologized to Mr. Bass; and bought or commissioned another one.
Well, millionaires often can not appreciate the finer things in life, and they do what they want.
You gotta blame Pete Towshend for that, but in this case the crowd did not go wild.

Pete Townshend has always been an idiot for doing that, too.
"A cheerful heart is good medicine."
I was so bummed when Pearl Jam did that after their duet with Neil Young doing "keep on rocking in the free world". Ruinded the moment for me.

"I wonder if a composer ever intentionally composed a piece that was physically impossible to play and stuck it away to be found years later after his death, knowing it would forever drive perfectionist musicians crazy." - George Carlin
